My daughter, Lauren wanted to be a flamingo this Halloween, so we found Simplicity pattern 3663 and I set to work. It was made for a smaller child so I had work to do. I made the tunic larger and the wings longer and made ruffle-butt panties to finish the look. It is covered with feather boas and pink lace. The beak and face are felt reinforced with heavy interfacing. She wore black fishnet stockings to complete the look. She loved it!
