The evening dress was made from the inspiration of Javanese women’s elegance. I chose brown satin and pleated chiffon as the main fabric for the dress. Then by adding an gold embroidered dark brown taffeta obi belt, the dress becomes more fabulous. Thanks to Ridwan’s Photography and Fatkhur Uphat.

Oh, when I read this was for Canada and US only I was sooo upset as well as I live in New Zealand. This is a beautiful dress, so elegant and airy. The model is stunning as well. Perhaps Threads could have a competition for us outlanders.

Hi there,
Beautifully executed dress, the colours are fantastic on you and you look stunning. The background is a perfect match to the dress.
Wishing you all the best.
Thank you so much! Actually that's not me. That's my friend I chose to be the model.
Oh, I'm so upset when I realized this competition is only for who live in Canada and US. Well, I live in Indonesia. Too bad.
Love the Javanese dress. Looks orange in my picture, but that's nicer anyways!
Even though you can't enter the contest, thankyou for sharing your beautiful garments! The photography is gorgeous as well!
