It began with a picture of a rose. Once we created the rose, we had to build a skirt that would support the roses. Pearls where added to match her tiara. For fabrics we used silk mesh chiffon and silk taffeta, 27 meters total (not counting the crinoline). A traditional bouquet would have hidden the rose on the bodice so we invented the rose garland. The rose lace on the veil was taken from her mother’s wedding veil.

Beautifully sculptural dress. I would never have been able to carry off this much fabric, but it is absolutely stunning on the bride. The rose garland was ingenious, adding lovely color as well as setting off the design. Truly a "princess-like" gown. I can picture her walking down the aisle of Cathedral de Notre Dame with the light shining through the famous rose window.
Stunning! I thought she was a ballerina. So creative.
WOW! This just takes my breath away. So beautiful.
