My classic red coat! I constructed my coat from soft, mid weight, washable poly fabric using McCall’s pattern 5717 with a few revisions. I quilted the contrasting lining to acheive maximum warmth. I lengthened the coat by 4 inches also to increase overall warmth. The upper collar is pleated to add feminity and softness. I finished it off with beautiful black and red varigated buttons. It’s stylish as well as practical!
