Our grandchildren posing for their annual Easter photo. I made my granddaughter’s dress as well as a butterfly for her hair cut out from one in the fabric. I carefully cut out the antennae keeping it attached to the butterfly body. I used a heavy interfacing/stabilizer and ironed it onto the wrong side of the wings and antennae. I used Scribbles glittering silver 3D paint on the edges to prevent fraying and give it pizzazz. Then cutting the second one using the same technic I stitched them together only with a satin stitch in the middle of the butterfly body freeing the wings to look like 3D and as if it were flying. Then I hand sewed a pony tail rubber band to the butterfly. I used a coordinating fabric for my grandson’s neckties. They were all proud of their new Easter clothes. They looked like a million dollars! Grandma sure had fun with the project to!!!

Gorgeous kids, gorgeous clothing. Great color coordination all the way around!
Precious! The color of your granddaughter's dress is perfect for her skin tone and I love the green ties on your grandsons! I imagine they all received lots of compliments at church on Easter! God Bless!
