This fun jacket is made from 100% organic cotton fleece made in the USA. After sewing, I then garment dyed it chartreuse in my front loading washing machine. Red glass buttons are spaced uneven for button holes to give a sculptured look. I love wearing this jacket with jeans or a red knit dress.
A very very simple jacket, serged together and finished with a roll hem. Patch pockets are set at an angle to add geometic interest.

I love chartreuse (or any green), I love asymmetry, I love organic, cotton, and fleece. I love your jacket!!! The color and the flutter detail (ruffles?) suggests spring leaves, and the buttons suggest springtime buds. Thank you for the inspiration and for sharing.
Ann, I LOVE this jacket. Everything about it floats my boat. Is there a pattern that you used or used for inspiration? I am a beginer at sewing clothes. Accomplished quilter but it its not "flat" I need help!
Thanks,
Mitzi

Great jacket. Chartreuse is one of my favorite colors and a great way to brighten up the spring wardrobe.
