DIY Sequin Tank Top

details of photo @ http://www.ivamessy.com/2010/05/diy-interchangeable-sequin-pocket-tank.html

I picked this tank top up at Target fairly recently for $10 {also got it in army green as well}. Unfortunately I did not have enough different colors of strung sequin fabric at home, and I just wanted to use what I had on hand, so I went with this sequin dancewear fabric…although not exactly what I wanted. Since the pockets are interchangeable it is very easy to create more patch pockets later.

You can be creative with the pocket, the design is up to you {different sizes, shapes, colors, fabrics}. Of course though, if you don’t care for the option of having different pockets to interchange, you can just stitch the pocket onto the shirt.

Clever idea! I tried to get a closer look at the pockets but could not get my computer to go to your page. I am going to keep this idea to copy onto some of my projects. You know the finest compliment is copying! Thanks. ME at Osewfine
