This is a corset top I made using one of my husbands old shirts, it was my second attempt as the first one didn’t work out(a problem with the rigilene boning that I rectified in this one). It was my first attempt at handstitched eyelets though, but it won’t be my last, even though they took me 3 days to stitch it was worth it and I much prefer the way they look as opposed to metal grommets.

Great idea! Very nice design....it looks great. I love doing t-shirt reconstruction...I always say I let the design on the shirt dictate the style, but I must admit I never would have thought of a corset....the design on the tee is perfect for that.
