My daughter wanted to be her favorite superhero, Word Girl, for Halloween. I had made red leggings previously and luckily had left over fabric. I self drafted the shirt, hood, detachable cape, gloves and boot covers. The shield is an applique using Wonder Under. She was very pleased with her costume and I am happy that it was done in time!
Watch out villains….here she comes!

Hello, I know this was posted a few years ago, but your costume is the best I've seen anywhere. Now they don't even sell the ready made ones and my daughter desperately wants to be Word Girl. Would you consider making one for my daughter? How much would you charge? If not, any help you could give me to help replicate your success would be awesome.
