patternless peasant blouse

It looks better on the hanger than on me.

I made this blouse for myself, since I can’t seem to get anyone else’s measurements. I really didn’t know what to do on cutting a wedge for sleeves and fortunately, since I cut too small, I was able to go back over again. But I did have to take out both sleeves and part of the sides. The second time, I cut two inches off the casing and seven inches down the sleeve. The next time, I’ll probably cut eight inches down the sleeve. At first, I thought the blouse wouldn’t fit, but that was before I put the cording in. It’s so cool and liberating to actually be sewing something.
