This jacket is a Chanel-style, based on Vogue 7975. Using Susan Khalje’s techniques from “Inside a Chanel Jacket”, I made several modifications to the pattern. You can read all about its construction On My Blog.

It is stunning. The fit is definitely an improvement over the original pattern. Is the fabric very soft? If I remember Susan's article on the Chanel jacket, she recommends a very soft tweed. I have a beautiful silk tweed I would like to use but it is not soft. Do you think it would work?
Outstanding. Your jacket is perfect. A chanel jacket is on my to do list this year. I'm hoping for beautiful results.
