Our family dressed up as the Wizard of Oz characters this year. My 1 year-old got to be the more-cute-than-cowardly lion. I used McCall’s pattern M6105 to create the look. I modified the pattern for the perfect fit using a pair of pajamas as a guide. The main body is made from a textured knit velour and I repurposed a brown tee shirt for the lining of the hood and the ear and paw details. I used 5 colors of ribbon for the mane and tail and glued each piece onto the costume using Beacon’s Fabri Tac.
