I used McCall’s Pattern #9124 (Two-Piece Evening Dress) to make the bodice and the skirt for my holiday party ensemble. It is a fully lined and boned corset top with a back zipper and a gathered skirt worn over a vintage petticoat. I used a golden silk dupioni fabric that catches the light beautifully and a matching acetate lining.
The pattern for the lined purse is Vogue 9020 and is made with matching silk dupioni and acetate lining. The top and the purse are both trimmed with gold rhinestone buttons shaped like bows. I felt like a princess while I was wearing it. This elegant party ensemble glows in the light!
