This bag is a total upscycle other than the hand dyed wools used to make the flowers and stem appliques. The pink body is a felted wool sweater, orginally from the GAP, but picked up at the local thrift shop. The lining is silk from a ten year old skirt whose fabric I always admired and couldn’t throw out. The pattern is my own design. I used Decor Bond and a bit of Peltex in the bag body and weft insertion interfacing on the silk lining. The handle is made up of a braid using the front facings and corded edges.
