I am a student in the Sewing Technology Program in Orlando Tec. One of the requirements is to work with two stretch fabric so I decided to construct a Summer dress, I decided to use 6119 Simplicity New Look and I found this beautiful stretchy cotton blend in Wal-Mart for only $2.00 a yard so I decided to buy the only six yards left over and I constructed my popular Blue Summer Dress. This fabric was so easy to sew and in ordered to make it more elegant I used 50 rhinestones all over the dress. It took only two hours to cut and put together, the pattern instructions were so easy. My friend modeled it for me in the Rip the Runway show for Orlando Tec it was one of the most popular dresses of the night.

Great Job- I bet you get alot of use out of it!
Would you please tell me what size on the pattern you used when sewing this? I want to make this dress for someone with measurements (bust 43, hips 43, waist 37), but those measurements are bigger than the sizes on the pattern. Your model looks to be about the size of the person I want to make this for. Thanks!
