I was looking around for a nice light summer jacket pattern and fell in love with this vintage one from the 1930’s. It is constructed almost entirely with lapped seams. I used a soft and lusterous silk/cotton blend for the front panels and the triangular back inset, and the main body is 97% linen 3% lycra that is wonderfully breathable and comfortable to wear. The pattern featured contrasting inside cuff facings but I adapted it to be fully reversible using a wild pink/green splatter patterned cotton/silk fabric.
