The dress portion was hand dyed and sewn by me. It is historically accurate to the victorian era. There is a bustle also in the back. The costume (including jewelry and hat) is handmade and dyed by hand. My favorite part about the costume is that the utility belt has a holster which I built into it specifically to hold her copper fan. The corset, belt (with pouches), wrist cuffs, and eye patch are all made from leather which I hand dyed brown or painted copper.
I love steampunk and I wanted a costume that would be elaborate, but fun to make. The ray gun lights up with a purple beam. This costume cost well over $200 dollars to make and a year’s worth of time.
Wonderful! I love Steampunk and you did an awesome job!
This is Amazing. Were you perchance on steampunk'd the show?
