We frequently see rainbows off our back deck and it inspired my daughter to want to be a rainbow for Halloween. I made a pattern of a simple A-line dress with a drawstring strap. I pieced together the curved pieces to create a rainbow affect on the front and back. The clouds are attached to the lining so they gently float below. Some of the fabric was recycled. My daughter used her sewing machine to sew felt sun “rays” that we attached to a headband with hot glue. I sewed some gold coins to a black onsie for my son the pot of gold and found some St. Patrick’s Day stuff for me Leprechaun costume. We had a great halloween!
