I made this dress for my middle daughter’s cotillion dance and then resized it for my younger daughter to wear as a Christmas party dress.  It has 3 layers of sparkle organza for the skirt (one is pink) and a ruffle around the hemline.  I also quilted the bodice, added rhinestone trim at the waist and a ruffle trim on the sweetheart neckline.  I made the pattern from instructions in Mary Adams’s book, The Party Dress.  My husband has no idea how much money I saved us:)
