I made this little ensemble during a BurdaStyle sewing retreat weekend! They’re both from the Gypset story from the 11/2011 issue. The blouse is a viscose and the skirt is a lovely stretch denim. I top stitched the skirt by hand to highlight the lovely high waistband and hem detailing. I love these two pieces a lot and just goes to show how you can really change the look of a pattern with fabric and detailing.
