This dress was made entirely by me for a fall convention. All patterning was by me. It is a two piece using a gray satin taffeta for the skirt and ruffled sleeves. The black was a polyester taffeta and lined with cotton. The corset was vinyl with a cotton lining completely topstitched. There is a diamond keyhole feature in the front and a high collar with added trim. The mutton sleeves are two layers. The under layer is gray with four layers of ruffles and the top layer is the black with a slit halfway up the lower arm and sewn on bow made from the corset lacing. The gray skirt is a half circle skirt covered in four layers of handmade ruffles in different widths with a rolled hem. It is worn with a small petticoat.
