PRINCE HANS AND KRISTOFF
PRINCE HANS
Same as Kristoff, I purchased the materials from Joanns fabrics on sale. All three colors are broadcloth cotton and were on sale for about $4.00/yd. The ribbon trim was all from my stash. I used a boy’s vintage ADVANCE sewing pattern to get the basic bodice shape. The jacket was unlined. The pants were made using pj pants and tracing the shape. I added the satin ribbon trim to the side seam. The ascot was some scrap silk fabric (just cut with pinking shears to prevent unraveling)
Ok…and those boots (or spats)…are actually leather scraps with velcro to close them in the back (worn over shoes that we owned already). I made a small stitch across the bottom of the spats to make them fit over his shoes properly. When he put them on this morning and realized that they were made with Velcro…he told me “I don’t need bandaids for my legs! I don’t have any boo-boos!”…lol
