My son wanted to be a porcupine! I found some wonderful black and silver fur and sewed a body suit type outfit and head piece. I used black foam strips that I painted white stripes and these served as quills. I attached half of them with nylon thread, but when I ran out of time, I hot-glued the rest. (Burned my fingers 50 times!) This was so fun and a hit among his friends.
