Halloween Costume Contest 2015

Toddler Tornado

My four-year-old son, Landon is obsessed with tornados.  He wanted to be one for Halloween.  Nowhere can you buy something like this so we made it ourselves.  We started with dark grey felt, and then came up with a shape to sew.  We made a cone shape with pants.  Then we used bunting for clouds and felt for shapes that the torando picked up: a house, a barn, a hourse, a bike, a witch, a cow, a car, a bus, a train, and trees.  We also made two lightening bolts with felt and elastic for sleeves.  It came out great!  My son was happy and everyone thought we were genius! His sister was Dorothy.
