Halloween Costume Contest 2016

Frozen Prince Hans, Kristoff and Princess Anna

I used Simplicity 1233 for Princess Anna but modified the applique to match more closely to the actual dress.  I used faux gems and sequins to add “bling” to the dress. Too bad it was cold and she covered it with the cape made from pruple twill.  Prince Hans was made using McCall’s 6143 but I made the lapels much larger.  The vest came from an Ottobre pattern and shirt was made from Burda 9524.  The black boots are rainboots purchased used from ebay.  Kristoff was made from velveteen and faux fur.  I copied a large tee shirt to make the shirt out of gray sweatshirt fabric.  Faux fur was added as a trim.  The pants are also gray sweats.  The boots are rain boots I bought from Target and glued faux fur and velveteen and used some batting to make them point up in the front.  The gloves were made tracing my son’s hand.  The beanie was also made on the fly.
