My Mermaid
I made this colorful Mermaid costume for my granddaughter. She loves it! I used Simplicity 4043 and was lucky enough to find the teal fringed fabric for the tail. I embelished the bodice with netting and bobbin work using silver thread. The tail was made and sequines were sewn on one side and bobbin work on th he other side. She glued starfish on the crown and we made a pearl necklace. I also made a pair of knit pants to wear underneath.
