I love the gritty urban print on this medium weight linen and felt it lent itself to the edgy jacket design by Marcy Tilton for Vogue Patterns (9035). The gold metallic overprint make the fabric out of the ordinary. I only had a small bit of yardage, but managed to find a complimentary gray silk/cotton in my stash that I used for sleeves, facings, bound buttonholes and self-covered buttons. The complex pattern pieces made this jacket a challenge to construct, but I perservered. I get compliments every time I wear my City Jacket!
