I love the way this kimono dresses up a basic tee or tank and jeans! It began its life as the end of a bolt of sheer woven poly at a local fabric store. I fell in love and bought it – but then what? The two yard piece wasn’t quite enough for any pattern that seemed suitable, so I got creative. Two folds, a front slit, rounded neck, two seams, serger rolled edges and now it’s wearable! It was a super-simple make so I hesitate to even call it self-drafted, but I guess that’s what it is. It will soon have its own tutorial on my blog, The Sewful Life.
