Our Spring time gets rain, and more rain, requiring us to own rainproof lightweight jackets. This fun girl’s jacket is from Ottobre Design 6/2016, #18 hoodie. I used waterproof soft shell for the base, and randomly embrodiered on two different dinosaurs, her favorite Brontosaurus and a Spinosaurus, with little butterflies playing with the dinosaurs. A firm knit was used for the cuffs and edges. The hood is shaped with darts, and snugged in with the binding, therefore eliminating the need for any strings/ties. The inside has a very thin knit lining, which is not part of the original design. The pockets are deep, and she loves putting her little treasures in them. She likes to wear her jacket, and it’s hard to get her to not wear it inside.
