This Tropical, Cotton/Poly Lagenlook Tunic gets compliments everywhere it’s worn! Made from the same pattern as my Linen Jacket, Butterick 6056 was perfect for this fabric from my stash. I cut the neck and pocket facings from solid black and turned them to the outside for accents. Both were finished with buttons from my favorite resource – My Fabulous Button Stash. I enjoyed taking this tunic full circle and wearing it on a trip to Maui where the fabric was originally purchased. I love the Lagenlook styling of this pattern and find it amusing that Butterick describes it as “tent”style”. I’m so glad that didn’t scare me off! Who wants to look like a tent, after all?! If you’d like, you can see my whole handmade Maui wardrobe on my blog, The Sewful Life.
