Give s child a book…get a dream weaver.
6 year old Beatrice read a book about Madame Marie Currie and decided what her Halloween costume would be.
Using a pattern for a witch costume as the base, pin tucking and buttons were added to create a Victorian look. She was very specific in her request…no white jackets for this girl! She had seen a photo of Marie and that was how it must be. Create a wide belt with Velcro closure and a drop down holder for test tubes. Using two strips of black elastic to hold the plastic test tubes in place, the tubes with glow sticks were secured giving hands-free access to carry her trick or treat bag.
