When my daughter shared that she thought Madeline costumes would be great Halloween costumes for her girls this year, I jumped right on board! I had a previously used dress pattern for Estie’s baby dress that I knew would fit,  and my sewing buddy had gifted me with a vintage pattern from 1965 that worked perfectly for Jolene’s size 3 dress.  The royal blue fabric used was a cotton  blend twill from Joann Fabrics, the rest came from my stash. The capes were self-drafted, and simply tied under the chin for a comfortable fit. I think they look adorable!
