This costume was created for both children with an ice cream theme in mind. My daughters costume is a strawberry ice cream with a cherry on top! The sprinkles were made by laminating pieces of construction paper and then hot gluing them to the shirt and the skirt. The ice cream cone was made with a Styrofoam cone which was wrapped in laminated construction paper. The strawberry ice cream inside is a Styrofoam ball wrapped in felt. The sprinkles are just smaller pieces of Construction paper and the cherry on top is a pom-pom. I hot glued her cone to her headband. For my son’s ice cream man costume we bought an old-fashioned ice cream man hat and ice cream popper toys. I hot glued the ice cream cones into the carrier. The ice cream carrier is the top part of a shoebox that I wrapped in brown construction paper.
