We are so excited to share our 1st project ever. We have much respect for this community, and adoration for the talent that has been displayed. Our boys LOVE Toy Story and although only 11 months apart they are best friends! They both wanted to be Slinky Dog, and we couldn’t say no haha! We bought our 1st sewing machine and decided to go for the gold and make everything by hand- from the head to the feet. We used a pumpkin pattern and lined the costume with fleece for warmth. The tail is wire held up by a piece of thread to keep its form. The slinky is an actual slinky, spray painted and outlined with LED lights. We made button holes and a pocket on the inside to hold the battery pack. For the hat we used a lady bug head pattern and sewed on fleece ears. The feet are handmade stuffed paws with elastic to hold onto the shoes. We are very proud of this costume, our boys LOVED it, and we hope you and the threads community enjoy our creation.
