It is a great jacket! There's an example of it in Issue 112 of Threads (coming your way right now, if you haven't seen it yet), in Nancy Shriber's article on strip-piecing. This is a stunning interpretation, with lots of color and texture, but the jacket also looks wonderful in a solid color, say wool crepe or something like that. I have really got to get sewing!!

What a cute jacket! We've been waiting a long time for this one. ISn't there supposed to be another new one coming too? I love Fred's patterns. Fit is very consistent sizewise from one to the next and instructions are good and clear. I just noticed looking at the new one on the site it's considerably more than the others, wonder why they're all different prices?
