I was able to pull together the Grey Lady costume for our church annual Harry Potter Halloween Party. The fabric was 1980s decorating fabric dyed grey. I used the wrong side for the base of the pattern and the flowered side as an accent. It took about 10 yards of fabric to construct. It was very heavy but also looked very authentic. I enjoyed playing the part and being a spooky ghost. My husband is dressed as Snape.
