Hi all!  Issue #118 (p. 66) includes a yardarge conversion chart for translating fabric requirements given for 60-inch-wide to 45-inch-wide, for example. And that’s handy to know! Being Canadian, I buy most of my fabric by the meter and was hoping “somebody at Threads” would do a further conversion of this chart into metric! It would be great to have both measurement systems on the same chart, because there are some stores here that do sell by the yard. Is that a reasonable request? It sure would be nice to have such a chart so your Canadian readers could have it laminated and put in their wallets!

Thanks for considering this request, Threads Editors.

The Vogue pattern books have a metric/yardage converter at the back, and all fabric outlets have a chart they refer to.  I buy pattern books (the hardcover ones from the store) instead of patterns.
