I am ready to replace my 15 year old Singer, and thought I had narrowed down my choice to a Viking 545. However, that was before I discovered the Bernina 950 Industrial. I used to do bridal and formal wear, and hope to get back into business this year, and would like to know if anyone has any input as to the Bernina 950 or any other comparable industrial machine. I really don’t need all the quilting stitches on the Viking, but want the automatic buttonholer so must go with the 545. There isn’t that much of a price difference between the two machines. Any help is greatly appreciated!
