Can you advise if there is a problem with deliveries to Australia (again). I have yet to receive Issue 139 – although another member of my Sewing Guild groups has had hers for nearly 2 weeks. We both subscribe in the same way. Can you please let me know what has happened.

Hello,
I am in Sydney, and received issue 139 a while ago, but it was a little later than normal.
Email Customer Service... you will get a faster response. I have contacted them many times and have had quick replies. Include your membership number on the message.
The forum can't really advise you of subscription mailouts. The editors current and previous have always advised us to go directly to Customer Service.
Click on the Customer Service menu link above OR as stated on the contacts pages in the magazine - - Subscription inquiries link can be found at http://www.threadsmagazine.com
Thanks for the advice. I will follow it up with Customer Service
no problems. good to see another aussie on here too.
Hi Polly
Has your "Threads" turned up yet? I would agree with Cherrypops - customer service are pretty good. They will also send replacements, although sometimes replacements are sent surface mail and take AGES!!!!.
I can't remember exactly when my last "threads" arrived, but i don't recall it being particularly late - I certainly hadn't become anxious about it (and I usually do!!)
cheers
Susannah
Hi,
No - I never did receive issue #139, but I was waiting it out anyway. And then last week issue #140 turned up so I knew for sure it had gone missing. I've contacted Customer Service and they have advised they will send a replacement.
Cheers.
Hi Polly2
Appart from the Missing Issues Disaster of 2006, when almost all of the australian subscribers were left Threadless, I have only had 2 occasions (in over 8 years as a subscriber) when my copy has gone astray in the mail, and both times Customer Service have been very prompt in sending a replacement. On one of those occasions, the missing issue arrived much later, and i ended up with two copies of the same issue.
I am sure that they are still just as helpful!
regards
Susannah
