   *AACCK! I had been reading earlier today in the Loes Hinse II folder about a designer fabric web site that was selling all stock. I had planned to come back tonight to get the link and I fear I may be out of luck! If anyone knows what I am talking about please post the link or send it to me at [email protected] hope Sewing World isn't down yet....

I've been told that the owners are kind enough to let us use their server free of charge and that in the past, the server has failed while they were out of town - vacation, I believe. I will cheerfully tolerate a week or two of no Sewing World in exchange for the many weeks of expert help and camaraderie.    *As regards communication, Scott and Krista have had a message on the homepage of SW that a new and improved version of SW is on its way so may be there is work in progress as we speak. Meanwhile life isn't quite the same -- I am keeping check on my withdrawal symptoms by trying to get on with some actual sewing. Jan.

   *just a word on emmaonesock -- I ordered the fabric on Monday and got it on Wednesday. Wow!! and the olive ribbon fabric is as cool as everyone says.

    *i'm just wondering, if since it's been over a week since the last post on this subject, if everyone else is able to connect to sewingworld? i still get the message about the administrator supposing to have fixed everything yesterday? of course the day i decide i want a new machine and everyone is telling me to go to sewingworld, and i can't get through. i hope it's not always like this!

    *lucyk - Sewing World has been very reliable for the almost 3 years that I have been loggin on. The two summers prior to this the site went down each year for about a week around July 4th when Krista & Scott went on vacation and were not there to monitor it and keep it up. This past month has been the only real problem and I can't being to tell you how many people have been having withdrawal systems? We can't wait for it to be back up.Ginna
