Is there anyone who could tell me about fabric stores in Las Vegas? I will be there for 5 days in late April and I would like to visit a couple of fabric stores that carry good quality fabric for sewing and quilting. Thanks.

I posed the same question as you did back in February, if you check through the Archives under General Disscussion, you'll find the replies. One suggestion was to do a search, fabric shops Las Vegas. The yellow pages will come up with a listing of the stores.
I am also going to be in Las Vegas at the end of the month, for three days. One highlight of this trip is that I will meet one of my Australian e-mail pals, our connection was through the Australian Stitches magazine. Have fun shopping!

I did do a search, eventually, and there was 1 email with some good quality fabric stores in Vegas. 3 of 4 fabric shops are in the same general area (Sahara up to Rainbow) so I'll check out those ones for sure (I have to keep it easy to find). I print out my driving directions thru map quest. Have a good time in Vegas. I think there is a big boxing or wrestling match on, so it will be busy towards the end of next week. :)

I definately don't plan on going to any boxing or wrestling matches! As it is I may have a hard time stopping by any of the fabric shops. Oh well, I did once promise my husband that if we went on a holiday by air, I would not do any shopping. Sillly me. Enjoy your time in Las Vegas.
