How to thread a bobbin case?

Could anyone tell me where I can find a site that illustrates how to thread a bobbin case? I got a Singer 9117 but no manual. No one around me knows and I have stuffs to sew tonight. Any help would be appreciated~

    Hi Rebecca,

Unfortunately different machines thread different ways. Most
of my machines have threaded the same. It is important to have the bobbin's thread direction (i.e. clockwise or counterclockwise wound) be situated in the bobbin case the way the manufacturer designed it.

Look at my .gif image for the direction my machines have usually taken.

Insert the bobbin into the case with the thread dangling a few inches, keep the bobbin from unwinding and pull the thread thru the slot on the bobbin case. There should be a thin steel hook or latch (red in my drawing) that will make a tiny click when you've pulled the thread through all the way.

Try sewing. If your stitches look good then that's it! If not, there's only one other direction the the bobbin should lie in the case.
