Hi Threads editors,
I don’t know if it’s just that my spatial reasoning issues are getting the best of me, but I’m danged if I can figure out how to accomplish the installation of a lapped zipper according to Rosebud’s instructions in the current issue of Threads — without ever removing the work from the machine, that is.
Two steps — first the underlap seam, then the overlap — is what I’m coming up with when I try this.
Can anyone let me know where I might be going wrong?

I really have no idea if there's an error in the service piece I mentioned, and I'm not suggesting there is one. I was hoping other readers could point me in the right direction, that's all. I'll certainly look for another section on which to post my question. Thanks for your reply.
