Hi,
My daughter (17) and I went to a sewing expo in Clearwater last week and picked up several DVD’s that give sewing instruction on certain projects. We were very impressed and have been making handbags and pajamas! I’ve never seen such good quality and it is perfect for us because we don’t have a place to take lessons close by – or the time! My daughter is going to get a group of her friends together and make handbags to sell at our local church fundraiser. Just wanted to let you all know of this great resource. The company is Hip Line Media and there is a website under the same name. Great weekend to all,
jean

Thank you for the advice. I have been thinking about buying some dvds that teach sewing. I have taken a beginning class and a few other classes at local sewing shops, but it is hard to get away and find a sitter for my three kids- all under 4 years old. I have not heard of the company you are talking about. I will look into their product. I have only heard of the company, "you can sew" or " you can do it" something like that. I wonder if their product is worth the investment. To purchase the whole lot it would cost around $200-300. I believe you can also purchase tapes or dvds one at a time depending on the lesson you are interesed in.
Thanks for the tip!
Brett
