Little Black Dress

marijke | Posted in Feedback on Threads on

I, too, loved the little black dress on the cover of issue 135.  It seesm such a timeless design and flattering for many people.  The suggestion in the current issue (138) to use New Look 6800 is fine, but I wondered whether it would be possible to furnish a line drawing of the dress that was on the cover of 135 (front and back)?  I think that with a line drawing, it would be easier to adapt a currently available pattern to resemble the style.

Just wondering if this might be possible.

I'm a BIG FAN of the "Line Drawing".  It allows us to see the seams and details better than a photograph AND at the same time allows our imaginations to flow freely.  Gail

Before giving up I would try http://www.lanetzliving.net - she's got literally thousands of patterns, lots of Vogue, stock changing all the time - let her know the number you are looking for - you might be lucky.
