Looking for a wrap sweater pattern

Shoes | Posted in Patterns on

I am tentatively entering a forum for the first time – so here goes!  I am looking for a pattern to make a sweater/wrap.    As well, I am looking for a knitted shrug pattern.  Any ideas?

If you are looking for a wrap sweater or knit shrug that you cut and sew from the correct fabric, try http://www.simplicity.com

When the web page comes up, click on the New Look option on the left. Then, you'll have a number of other selections to choose from. If you click on "separates," and go through all the pages, there are several patterns for wrap sweaters. In "eveningwear," there are several patterns for shrugs.

Most of the other pattern companies, such as McCall's, Butterick, Vogue, and Burda have a number of such patterns in their collections, and most companies have their catalogues online nowadays. It's just a matter of going through their pages.

However, if you're looking for actual knitting patterns for sweaters and shrugs, you will need to find knitting forums per se.
