I am looking for stretch polyester taffeta fabric. I tried on a beautiful ready made skirt and top that fit wonderfullydue to the stretch. But the cost was prohibitive. So I thought I would make them. But can’t find the fabric. Any ideas?

Hi JR!
I know this is months after you asked, but I just found your question, and since it's almost Halloween(!), you may have better luck looking for stretchy taffeta in the costume fabrics ...
Or have you found something else that worked?
Don't know where you shop, but I do know that my local JoAnn Fabrics currently has some lovely stretch sateens, near the fashion denims. They're not quite taffeta-shiny, but do have a bit of gloss to the weave...
and they feel like a delight to work with.
