LOOKING FOR THE BEST EMBROIDERY MACHINE
MY DAUGHTER IS INTERESTED IN GOING INTO THE EMBROIDERY BUSINESS WHEN SHE RETIRES.
I WAS WONDERING WHAT IS RECOMENDED AS THE BEST ONE OUT THERE.

Sounds like she needs to investigate commercial embroidery machines.
I have used Tajima and really liked the machines. I was always happy with the results from the single head machine and the double but was dissapointed with it's results on hats (I'm not sure if was a universal problem most machines have).
I've always liked my Viking. I thought about doing embroidery and was talked into getting a Rose. Used of course, and I'm so glad cause I liken it to building a house
with the heel of your shoe. Slow and tedious . and expensive. live and learn. I did
design a wedding gown and used it to cover the bodice with embroidery then hand beaded it. But its not good for commercial uses . and the hoop was small and had to be repositioned alot ! no fun . but if you just want to do little things, and have alot of time on your hands....

I second solosmockers recommendation to look at commercial machines. Do not expect a machine designed for home sewing and embroidery to do the job.
