For the last few weeks, I have with horror been watching the feeding frenzy taking place on ebay over vintage patterns. There is a great demand out there for patterns that sewers have come to love and cherish which as their figures have matured they have been forced to abandon or search for on the after market at great cost to their nerves and pockets.
In my last message on the question concerning sewer’s favorite Miyake patterns i left the name and address of the president of Butterick pattern division. Please, ladies, so there will be a chance for all interested parties to enjoy these patterns we have all come to love and enjoy, write this man! Get your interest groups to write petitions and letters in favor of them reissuing the vintage Miyake patterns. The bottom line for them is the pocket book, so if we unite in a concerted effort and continue to bombard him there may come a change. Get the address from my last response to the “Favorite Miyake patterns question” Thanks!

Why not do a posting via deja.vue about the Miyake patterns & include Art's addresses & fax & phone numbers? It would reach a larger audience. I located this thread through alt.sewing, which I read regularly.
Shirley,
also a Miyake fan
