the presser foot lifter will free your hands to do other task....when sewing I really enjoy it...however, it gets in the way of my multiple thread holder when I'm embroidering..I have the New Home 5000.
*I am looking for a pattern to make a coat from a heavy Pendleton blanket. I would appreciate any suggestions.
